New York To Build Wind Farms on Great Lakes With the release of a request for proposals (RFP) this week, New York State has launched a search for developers to build wind farms on its neighboring Great Lakes that could generate between 120 megawatts to 500 megawatts of power with a target date of 2015.
Stockholm Targets Emissions-Free Traffic by 2030 The City of Stockholm, in tandem with energy company Fortum and Switzerland-based power provider ABB, aims to turn Stockholm into one of the world’s cleanest cities–in part by eliminating all traffic-related emissions by 2030.
