Recyclable Paper Laptop; LED Solar Powered Shed Light; Compressed Air Cars Less Efficient; Southern Taiwanese island going gasoline-car free; Sun Catalytix low-cost solar
Recyclable Paper Laptop Not sure how well it would work, but this Recyclable Paper Laptop is something new. This one designed by a certain Je Sung Park eliminates the use of aluminum or plastic chassis.
36 LED Solar Powered Shed Light The Solar Ray 36 has, you guessed it, 36 high-brightness white LEDs, all powered from 3x AAA 750mAh rechargeable batteries. The light can be used to illuminate pathways, sheds, garages, patios and more.
Compressed Air Cars Less Efficient Than Electric Cars It has been assumed that compressed air cars are cleaner than battery electric cars, but the reality is they are quite inefficient. A new study published in the journal Environmental Research Letters reveals that while in theory compressed air cars seem like a potential competitor to EVs, when it comes to lifecycle efficiency, they just don’t make the grade.
Southern Taiwanese island of Liuqiu going gasoline-car free A tiny island off the coast of Taiwan has decided to join the car-free club, at least to shed the gas guzzling kind. The tropical island of Liuqiu will spend a lot of money – between $9.3 to $15.5 billion – over the next three years to phase out gas cars and replace them with electric vehicles.
