Racing Green Endurance How fast can a battery-powered car travel the entire 16,000+ mile length of the Pan-American highway? We don’t really know but it looks like we’re going to find out. The Racing Green Endurance team, hailing from Imperial College London, are putting together an all-electric version of the Radical SR8 (now an SR0) to demonstrate to the world the possibilities of this powertrain.
Super Efficient Cooling for Servers Iceotope, the 3-year-old startup from Sheffield, UK is demonstrating a liquid-cooled server setup that has the potential to cut data center cooling costs by up to 93 percent.

India to Spend $900 Million on Solar The Indian cabinet approved a plan on Thursday that sets out to increase energy production from solar technology to 20 gigawatts by 2022, up from six megawatts today. The government will spend about 43 billion rupees ($922 million) in the first of three phases of the program. The total cost for all three phases could approach $20 billion.
A Better light bulb Clean Light Green Light is capitalizing on advances that have made LED — light-emitting diodes — lights brighter and more useful for indoor and outdoor lighting, such as for parking lots.
