Ford Hybrid Sales Up 78% Since This Time Last Year.
Guess this whole “hybrid car” thing is catching on, huh? Well, it’s about time! While American manufacturers have struggled to keep up with their Japanese counterparts when it comes to style and MPG, Ford seems to be doing something right – their hybrid car sales are up a whopping 78% since this time last year. They say that 60% of new Hybrid Fusion buyers are non-Ford owners, and that 52% of those people are coming over from import brands.

While the Prius is still my favorite hybrid as of today, it looks like Ford is working hard to sell more of their hybrids to people. American car companies need some boosts like this to help them gain more market share, and this is great news for Ford. Gotta give credit where credit is due, for sure!
