Get a 2009 Smart ForTwo For Just $99/Month. OK, so you also have to take advantage of the Cash for Clunkers program, but still – a new Smart ForTwo for only $99 a month? I might have to figure out a way to make this happen for me.
Sacramento Signs Smart Power Grid Deal. The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) has chosen Silver Spring Networks to build a smart grid for about 600,000 homes and businesses in Sacramento County. The smart grid will let customers monitor their energy use, connect to newer “smart” appliances, and let users monitor energy use from a remote laptop or smartphone as well. Cool, heh?
