Just a quick reminder that today is the deadline for entering our Brita Faucet Filter giveaway.

In April, we’ve been teamed up with FilterForGood to help stomp out bottled water waste and offer our RSS feed subscribers a chance at Brita’s convenient faucet-mounted filter and a Nalgene HDPE soft water bottle. There’s no purchase necessary: just look for a ink to entry information and complete rules at the foot of each article in our full-content site feed.

Bottled water is a major source of litter and plastic pollution. Every year, bottled water generates 1.5 million tons of plastic garbage. Switching to filtered tap water is a healthy way to help the environment.

You can still enter through midnight Eastern time. The winner will be randomly selected from all entries received and notified by email. We’ll announce the winner’s name on Friday’s edition of The Daily Five.
